In this tutorial we will show you how to set up VPN on a Huawei 5G CPE Pro 2 Router but first let’s see what are the requirements and our recommendations.

Things to Consider:

  • Router is connected to another device (Modem, another router, directly to ISP) that is supplying Internet access.
  • Own a premium PureVPN account (If you do not already own one, you can buy a subscription from here)

1 To start set up VPN on the D-Link router you first have to connect to it. For that, you have to put in your browser the following address: http://192.168.0.1 (If this doesn’t work, please consult your router’s manual to find what is the Default Gateway Address). Enter your router’s password and click ‘Login’

2 Once logged in, go to the ‘Advanced’ option located at the top right corner.
