Physical Server VS Virtual Server
As the name suggests, a physical server is present at a physical location. A virtual server, however, does not need to be physically present at a location since all the attributes of that physical location are integrated into a virtual server.

The link provided contains the same software version 5.4. I’ve tried it and it has the same problem as above. Still, 5.2 works fine but asks to install the helper on every startup.

    • Velo5 says:

Hi, the link leads to the same 5.4 app version available on your site here, and carries the problem described above.

  9. Velo5 says:

i’ve just upgraded to VPN client 5.4. Just like 5.3, it goes into an endless loop when starting up, never going beyond the startup screen / reaching the login screen. OSX 10.11.6 here. Lucky i didn’t overwrite 5.2 version, which isn’t available anymore (on the download page). Hope you guys can soon release a new software client which actually works!

  10. Samuli Skantsi says:

  24. Guest10 says:

It would help if PureVPN has the special tab/section called “Download” or similar that clearly states where to go on the PureVPN website to pick up / find the latest release of PureVPN on Mac. It is confusing to navigate now to even find the Mac client download page on PureVPN site. Please make life easier for at least Premium users. Also, remove banner ads at the top 1/4 of each web page when we logged in. Note that we do not need to see these advertisements as we are already paid Premium members. It’s annoying. Thanks.

  25. Olivia Curwen says:

The thing is that I found a way to make it work but it doesn’t stay connected for long for example it can download something for 2 hours and then crash and this might ruin my downloads thank you

  28. Fadel Toure says:

Hi I just downoloaded pure vpn on my mac I put my password and username just like in the instructions but nothing is working everytime I try to connect to the vpn it tells me that it failed and that I should check my connection while my connection is working perfectly I have the 10.10.5 version

  29. MrJohnson says:

Just intalled the lastest Mac version, but after selecting mode, and clicking the Dashboard, I’m not seeing anything in the window on the right-hand side, such as country or purspose, etc. Its a blank window. What would be the problem?

    • PureVPN Team says:

      Hi Mr Johnson,

I am sorry for the inconvenience. We have not received such complaint before, I would suggest you to exit the app and try again, if it does not work then re-install the app. If issue persists then do let me know, I will report it to concerned department for further investigation.

I will be waiting for your response!

      • MrJohnson says:

Thanks for the prompt reply. Some more details below:

        1. I have El Captian (10.11.2)
        2. I use the latest Mac version of the purevpn installer (PureVPN_5.1.1.dmg)
        3. I have tried a complete uninstall per instructions from a tech support email and reinstalled purevpn. Also saw a alert window saying installing a “helper.”

Result is still the same. There’s no list of countries or whatever in the right-pane when I click the dashboard on the left pane. See attached screenshot.

Edit: Never mind. After allowing the app sit for a about 30 minutes, list of locations and purposes etc finally showed up. It’s as if it needs some time to download/populate the contents?

Thanks anyway for the response. Will post again if I have other issues….

        • PureVPN Team says:
