To make effective use of PureVPN on Xiaomi phones, you always have the option to configure it manually. Once done correctly, the possibilities are limitless. To make this possible, here is what you need to do:

Before you begin, please make sure that:

  • You have a working internet connection
  • An android device (Smartphone, Tablet etc.)
  • Own a premium PureVPN account (If you do not already own one, you can buy a subscription from here.
  • Go to your home screen and tap Settings.
  • Tap VPN.
  • Tap “+” to add a manual VPN configuration.
  • Insert the following info:
  1. Insert Name: PureVPN PPTP
  2. Type: Select PPTP from the drop-down menu.
  3. Server Address: You can use the servers mentioned in the note above.
  4. Uncheck PPP encryption (MPPE)
  5. Enter your PureVPN credentials. Here is how you can find your VPN credentials.
  6. Tap on Save
  • Tap on PureVPN PPTP profile and Toggle on the VPN.
  • You are now connected.
