1 Download PureVPN Windows software from our Website.

2 Right click on Setup File.

3 Click on “Next”

4 Select ” I accept the agreement” and click “Next”

5 Select your system location to install and then click “Next”

6 Click “Next”

7 Click “Next”

8 Click “Install”

9 Installation process will start.

10 Once Software is installed, select “Launch PureVPN” and click “Finish”

11 Enter your “Username” and “Password” and then click “Login”

12 Once you are logged in, you will see different Modes. Select your desired mode and click “Next”

13 Select your desired location

14 You are now connected

    Thanks for reaching out. Kindly try this and let us know if this fixes the issue:

    – Press Ctrl+Alt+Del and click on Task Manager.
    – Click on “Startup” tab.
    – Check if any programs listed in the startup tab is disabled. If any program is disabled then click on that program and select “enable”.

    In case, if this does not work then do try this as well:

    Click the Search or Cortana icon in the Windows 10 taskbar and type “Run.” You’ll see the Run command appear at the top of the list. Once you’ve found the Run command icon via one of the two methods above, right-click on it and select Pin to Start. You’ll see a new tile appear on your Start Menu labeled “Run.”

      Thanks, that’s fixed it!
      Also, often when shutting down the PC I get the error message:
      netsh.exe “the application was unable to start correctly”
      If I just leave it, the PC still shuts down OK though. Just wondering, is this something to do with PureVPN?

        Regarding the error on Shut down, it does not seems to be caused by PureVPN app.

      Hi, thank you for your reply – yes, I do have Launch On System Startup checked. In Windows 7 I was using “old” version v4.2.1.0 but after the free Windows upgrade to Windows 10 it would not launch automatically any more. So I upgraded to “new” v5.15.1.0 instead, but the issue still persists.

      It’s not a big issue because I know how to create a Task that launches it at login and have done so, but it’s something that you might wish to keep in mind as it might be affecting some other users of Windows 10 as well.

          I also noticed a different bug with the new version 5.15.1.0 – sometimes after it successfully connects to the VPN server, the IP address it displays in the Dashboard window (“Your IP: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx”) is not always the VPN’s IP address – instead, it’s my regular ISP-assigned IP address. Again it’s not a big issue, because whatismyip.com confirms that it has actually connected to the VPN.

    Since upgrading from Win7 to Win10 I’ve found that PureVPN will not launch on system startup anymore. I’ve tried both the current and the old version, and the only way I can get either of them to load with Windows 10 is to create a Task that executes purevpn.exe at logon. Is this an issue that you’re aware of?

    We are sorry for the inconvenience. Website credentials are different from the one use to connect PureVPN. Please re-open your credentials email which we had sent you and find username which will look like “purevpn0s12345” and use this in our App.

    I can’t log into the app but I can log into the website.
    I’ve made sure I am typing my username and password (not copying and pasting)
    I am using the same username and password on the app as on the website but the app just keeps on saying “Incorrect username and password” but the website logs me in without issue. Please advise.

    I get very often (almost every time but not every time) error 807 trying to connect. I tryied disabling Windows Firewall but nothing changed. I’m using Windows 10.
