How to Setup PureVPN Connection on Mac with IPsec Protocol.

In this tutorial, we will show you how to set up a VPN on a Mac device with IPsec protocol but first let’s see what are our requirements and recommendations. 

Things to Consider:

  • MacOS 10.11.4 and higher device with active internet connection
  • Own a premium PureVPN account (If you do not already own one, you can buy a subscription from here)
  • To start setting up a VPN on a Mac device you first have to launch system preferences and select network settings as shown in the below gif.

2 Once done you will need to enter the following details.

  • Connection Type: Password from the drop-down menu
  • Insert Connection Name: PureVPN SSTP
  • Insert the desired server: Click here to get the server list
  • Insert your username & password as provided by PureVPN. (For further instructions on how to check your active PureVPN username and password click here.)
3 Click on Authentication settings as shown in the following gif.

Congratulations! You are now connected to PureVPN.
