      I have encountered this with another video. This video should be available to Japan IP addresses. I’m connected to the Japan server, but somehow it’s able to detect my location. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNBr3aAagNw

      Edit: I was able to download this video using a third party Japanese elite proxy, so somehow that bypassed the detection.

      By default, the IP address is dynamic ; it’s a real-world one but it changes every time you log in. If you want a static IP : gotta pay the few shillings and pick a region ; pretty convenient when I tried it quite frankly 🙂

    the pptp servers in japan seems incomplete
    i wonder if the type of sxxxxxx.pointtoserver.com has been working. The recent update has deleted such type of server in the section of “Entertainment Channels” in app for Windows. Also the japan server is not included in the Entertainment Channels any longer. Please fix it as soon as possible

    the pptp servers in China were not working properly.
    PPTP cn1.pointtoserver.com – the IP address inquery showed the remote point is in Karachi, Sindh (PK) [Details] .. as facebook and google still work after VPN setup. it is not in mainland China
    other two PPTP servers cn-hn1.pointtoserver.com and vlus-cn1.pointtoserver.com do not work at all.. could not setup VPN session.

    Can you please get a map and fix the listings for the USA. New Jersey, Georgia, Ohio, is not anywhere near San Francisco. for Seattle you list New York, New York is 3000 miles away from Seattle. Plus missing listings for Dallas and Tampa

    The app for Iphone and the software for Windows has the same problem. If you try to connect to a server in a specific city it connects to another. For instance the UK servers, I was trying different servers to check the speed and if i try to connect to Manchester, or Gosport or Maidenhead it always connects to London. I asked for help, and one of your guys gave me the server address I was looking for, but it’s a bit annoying that for every server I want to try I need to to a new configuration. Can you fix this problem? Thanks!

     The Danish (denmark) servers are broken now. openVPN-TCP and UDP dont even connect ( the remote connection was not made because the name of the remote acces server did not resolve) and the PPTP, L2TP, SSTP, IKEv2 makes the internet so slow, to the point of nothing working, when i first connect i can hurry into a website. But after a few sec. the net is down to something like 2g mobile internet. Cant browse the web, since one page is loading so slow, and not even right. What happened to the old dk1.purevpn.net from copenhagen and not lisbon (Portugal)

     If you visit a website before connecting to VPN, it records your location then if you re-visit the same website after connecting to VPN, it still shows your current location because that location is already recorded in website history.
     Possible Solutions:
     – Delete your browser cookies, re-connect VPN and visit the site again
     – If that does not work then open your browser in Incognito/Private mode
     – If problem persist, restart your system and try again

       unfortunately, there is no “Munich” in the list (https://support.purevpn.com/knowledge-base/vpn-servers). There are only two german cities listed: Napo and Nuremberg and “vlus-de-ovpn-tcp.pointtoserver” is nowhere in the list.

       So my question remains: Is this list complete? The answer seems to be “no”. But where/how do I find the complete list?

       And another question: I never heard about the german city “Napo”. Google maps also doesn’t know it. Where is this supposed to be?

       Swiss openVPN servers do have extreme issues since yesterday evening, They are mostly recognized as located in United States. They get IP’s in 205.164.1.XXX range, which is located in United states. Look into http://www.hcidata.info/host2ip.cgi and convert “ch1-ovpn-udp.pointtoserver.com” or “ch1-ovpn-tcp.pointtoserver.com”. You will see that sometimes its showing Switzerland, but sometimes United States. The bigger problem is, that the router which uses ch1-ovpn-udp.pointtoserver.com or ch1-ovpn-tcp.pointtoserver.com alsways gets an US-Location since yesterday. Webservices in Switzerland which are working only with Swiss IP don’t work at all anymore. This also happens with the PPTP, L2TP, SSTP, IKEv2 adresses instead of OpenVPN. I depend at least on the OpenVPN servers.

       Please fix this soon :/
