Answers to the questions we're often asked.

Is there a trial version available for PureDome?

Yes, PureDome offers a 30-day trial account to our users! To get started, simply head over to our website and click on Get Started. Once you have signed up and entered your account details, go to the Subscriptions and Manage Licenses tabs and select the Trial plan. You'll need to provide your payment information, but don't worry, you won't be charged during the trial period.Delete

How can I cancel my PureDome free trial?

If you wish to cancel your free trial of PureDome, please contact our customer support team through our live chat or by sending an email at support@puredome.com.

What happens after the free trial period?

If you do not cancel before your free trial period ends, you will be automatically charged for your subscription.

Does PureDome offer multi-account support?

PureDome allows its users to simultaneously utilize a single account on up to 10 devices from the same country.

What are the Sub-Admin, Billing Manager, Analyst, Config Manager and Member roles?

Here’s what each role means:

  • Sub-Admin: Sub-Admins have the ability to change permission settings and give roles to their fellow team members.
  • Billing Manager: Billing Managers can make changes to the billing information, view invoices, and update payment methods.
  • Analyst: An analyst can access the logs and reporting section, as well as download the apps.
  • Configuration Manager: Configuration Manager can invite team members, create or delete gateways, and manage dedicated IP addresses.
  • Member: Member can access the apps and download screen.

Where can I find VPN credentials for manual configuration?

The option to access VPN Agent credentials is now located in the profile section of the PureDome console. Members of the team, excluding administrators, can now easily see, copy, and generate their own passwords for setting up the VPN manually.


To access, simply log into the PureDome console at: app.puredome.com, click on Profile in the upper right corner, scroll down, and there you'll find the VPN Username (purevpn0sxxx) along with a button to generate a new VPN Password under VPN Agent.

Where is PureDome based?

PureDome is based in the British Virgin Islands, which allows us to maintain compliance with GDPR and availability of our business-to-business products suite.

Do you offer any open ports?

All outgoing and incoming connections are blocked on our servers by default. However, PureDome provides a port forwarding feature that allows you to conveniently open or close ports of your preference. You can manage the policy for creating port forwarding rules through the PureDome console at app.puredome.com.

How many ports can be forwarded at the same time?

With PureDome’s port forwarding feature, you have the capability to forward up to 15 default ports simultaneously.

Can I assign different roles to team members?

Yes, you have the ability to give different roles to your team members using PureDome's Role Management feature. If you want to know more about how this works, you can click here for more information

What is Device Posture Check?

PureDome Device Posture Check (DPC) is a security feature that helps protect your network and ensures that only secure devices can connect. It examines team members' Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS devices both before and during network access. If there's a mismatch between the required security settings and the actual settings on the device, the account administrator is informed, and the user will be denied access to the PureDome application.

How many profiles can I create for Device Posture Check?

At the moment, you have an option to create a maximum of 3 profiles for your workspace. If you need to increase the number of posture check profiles, please contact our support team, and they will be happy to assist you.

What is the maximum number of rules I can create for DPC for each operating system?

You can create 10 rules for Windows, 7 rules for macOS, 5 rules for Linux and 2 rules each for Android and iOS.

How do I create Device Posture Check profiles?

In order to add a Device Posture Check profile, go to the Device tab in the PureDome console on the left side and click on (+) Add profile to create a device posture check profile. For more detailed instructions, click on the provided link.

Is site-to-site VPN connectivity available with PureDome?

Yes, PureDome provides the convenience of a single IPSec Site-2-Site tunnel for VPN connectivity. For more detailed instructions, click on the provided link.

What is a service account and how do I use it for my organization? 

A service account in PureDome offers console administrators the flexibility to generate VPN accounts without tying them to specific individuals or teams. This functionality is particularly valuable for configuring routers in various settings, such as test labs and living room environments. To use a service account for your organization, follow the instructions provided in this documentation

Will I get a different IP every time?

You will always get the same IP address when you connect to a dedicated IP/ gateway. However, if you connect to a shared server, the IP address you get will be different each time because shared servers are in a pool.

Can a dedicated IP account be used by more than one user at a time?

Dedicated IP can only be used by a single user simultaneously; otherwise, the second connection user will get a dynamic IP.

Can dedicated gateway account be used by more than one user at a time?

A dedicated server account can be used by multiple users simultaneously. After connection, all users will get the same IP address each time they log on.

Is a Single Sign-On (SSO) option available for logging into the PureDome apps?

Yes, team members have the option to log into the PureDome apps using either their email address and password or Single Sign-On (SSO), if it's enabled for their account.

Which Identity Providers (IdP) can be used for Single Sign-On (SSO) with PureDome?

PureDome seamlessly integrates with identity providers such as Azure AD, Okta, Google Workspace and JumpCloud enabling organizations to use secure identity management solutions and facilitate one-click logins across their entire network.

Is it possible to enforce Single Sign-On (SSO) as the only login method into the account?

It’s not possible to leave SSO as the only option to log in to the account.

Does your payment processor gateway have a PCI-DSS Attestation of Compliance certificate?

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) provides a framework for developing a robust security process for credit card transactions. Any merchant or service provider that accepts, transmits, and/or stores cardholder data must be PCI compliant.


PureDome has partnered with Stripe Inc. to handle and accept credit card payments online and Stripe Inc. is PCI-DSS compliant as a merchant service provider.
