How to Setup PPTP Manually on Tomato Router?

Things to Consider:

Before you begin, please make sure that:

  • You have a working internet connection
  • Tomato Router
  • A Premium PureVPN account (if you haven’t bought it yet, click here to buy)

Please follow below steps to configure PureVPN PPTP on Tomato Router:

1 Please go through from the given description in image.

2  This image shows that how your VPN setup will look like.

3  Access your router control panel and click on ‘Network’ under ‘Basic’ option on the left panel.

4  In ‘Connection Type’ select ‘PPTP’ from drop down menu.

5 Type in your PureVPN ‘Username’ and ‘Password’ in respective fields as provided in your VPN credential email.

6  Check ‘DHCP’ and ‘Use Default Gateway on Remote Network’.

7  In ‘Subnet Mask’ type ‘255.255.255.0

8 In ‘PPTP Gateway’ field Insert your desired server address Click here to get server list

9  Leave ‘Option’ field blank and in ‘Connect Mode’ choose ‘Keep Alive’ from drop down menu. Also, Set ‘Check Interval’ to ’30 seconds’.

10  Set ‘MTU’ to ‘Default’

11  Keep your ‘LAN’ and ‘Wireless’ settings to default settings.

12  Now, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on “Save”. You Are Done!
