Please follow below given step by step guide:

1 Access your Router control panel

The default address usually is https://192.168.1.1 or https://192.168.0.1. The default username and password is usually admin for both.

2  From Left menu click on Advanced

3 Click on Configuration > Advanced > Static Route

4 Under Static route, insert the following info:

  • Destination: 8.8.8.8
  • Netmask: 255.255.255.255
  • Gateway: your router IP
  • Interface: LAN or 192.168.1.254/iplan
  • Click on Add

Repeat the steps

  • Destination: 8.8.4.4
  • Netmask: 255.255.255.255
  • Gateway: your router IP
  • Interface: LAN or 192.168.1.254/iplan
  • Click on Add

5 Click ‘Save Config’ then Apply

6 From connected System / Mac to the router.

Open the Command Prompt (Windows) or Terminal (Mac).

  • Windows: Press  Window AND R simultaneously, type in cmd and press Enter.
  • Mac OSX: Go to Applications and look for Terminal under Utilities.

Type  ping 8.8.8.8 and hit enter. Ping test should fail. If not then check the Static routes and reboot the router and check ping again.

Now type: ping 8.8.4.4 and hit enter. Ping test should fail.

7 Turn off your router and reboot after 30 seconds.
