Things to Consider:

  1. You have a working internet connection
  2. Blackberry Playbook Supported Device.

Find your VPN credentials for manual configuration.

To find your VPN credentials log into the PureVPN members area. Click 👉 here to visit member area.

  • Login to the Member area using your PureVPN registered email address and password.
  • On subscriptions tab scroll down to be able to view your VPN credentials.
  • You will be able to see and copy your VPN credentials.
  • Note down your PureVPN username and click on Eye icon to make your password visible and use it in the manual configuration.
How to connect PureVPN manually on Blackberry Playbook

Simply follow these steps to configure PureVPN manually on Blackberry Playbook:

  • Complete following list of steps to connect:
    1. Tap Security.
    2. Enter PureVPN under profile name
    3. Enter your desired server in Server Address. Click 👉 here to get the server list.
    4. Select Microsoft IKEv2 VPN Server from Gateway type drop down
    5. Select EAP-MSCHAPv2 under Authentication type
    6. Select Email Address under Authentication ID Type
    7. Enter your PureVPN credentials into Authentication ID and MSCHAPv2 password field respectively. Click 👉 here to know how to find your VPN credentials.
    8. Gateway Auth Type: PKI
    9. Gateway Auth ID Type: Identity Certificate Distinguished
    10. Gateway CA Certificate: AddTrust External CA Root
    11. Click Save and Connect to access PureVPN on your Playbook
