How to Setup PureVPN Manually on BlackBerry OS 10 / 10.1?

We have created this tutorial to help you get started with PureVPN on your BlackBerry device. Check out the guide and learn how to configure the VPN on OS 10 or 10.1.

Things to Consider:

Before you begin, please make sure that:

  1. You have a working internet connection
  2. Blackberry OS 10 / 10.1 Supported Device.
  3. A Premium PureVPN account (If you haven’t bought yet click 👉 here to buy)
Find your VPN credentials for manual configuration.

To find your VPN credentials log into the PureVPN member area. Click 👉 here to visit member area.

  • Login to the Member area using your PureVPN registered email address and password.
  • On subscriptions tab scroll down to be able to view your VPN credentials.
  • You will be able to see and copy your VPN credentials.
  • Note down your PureVPN username and click on Eye icon to make your password visible and use it in the manual configuration.
How to connect PureVPN manually on Blackberry OS 10 / 10.1

If you are using BlackBerry 10.1 then you need to import a certificate on your Blackberry device. Download the cert from the below link and follow the below guide to import the certificate

  • Go to the Settings Tab
  • On the next screen tap Network Connections
  • Now Tap VPN
  • On the next screen tap Add new VPN Profile
  • On Profile Name  write PureVPN and on Server Address . You can select the server address of your own choice by clicking 👉 here.
  • On Gateway Type Select Microsoft IKEv2 VPN server . Also on  Authen Type select EAP-MSCHAPv2 . Leave the Authentication ID Type field empty.
  • On Profile Name write PureVPN and on Server Address type one of the PureVPN Server Address that can be obtained from 👉 here. And from Gateway Type select Microsoft IKEv2 VPN server
  • Leave the rest of the settings as it is and tap Save
  • Tap the PureVPN profile to connect to PureVPN server.
  • This screen shows VPN is connecting.
  • You are connected now, Enjoy Pure Freedom!

    Mine is not connecting
