A number of users have shared experiences wherein Google has recognized their internet connection as originating from a country that differs from the location that they are connected to from the PureVPN's application. 

To illustrate, if you're linked to one of PureVPN's servers in United States, Google may identify your connection as originating in the United Arab Emirates. This discrepancy in geographic identification has been reported by some of our users.

When connected to a PureVPN server in the US, Google may incorrectly identify your location as the United Arab Emirates. This can occur because the specific Google server you connect to is commonly used by UAE residents. Google determines your location through various methods, including your IP address, Wi-Fi network, browser language, and GPS if you're using a mobile device. If it detects many users with a US IP address but other factors like browser language or GPS suggest they are in the UAE, Google might indicate that you are in the UAE, even when connected to a US server. While this may be confusing, you can verify your IP address's true location by visiting a website like maxmind.com, which reveals how other websites perceive your location based on your IP address.
