Dovado UMR_Broadband routers include a very basic firewall that helps protect your home network from unwanted access from the internet. Since this firewall blocks incoming connections you may need to open a port through it for certain games and applications. To do this, you will have to forward the port with a process called Port Forwarding. You may follow the below guide to setup PortForwarding on the Dovado router.

It is important to set up a static ip address in the device that you are forwarding a port to. This ensures that your ports will remain open even after your device reboots.

2- The address bar has 192.168.0.1 in it. Just replace all of that with the IP address of your Dovado UMR_Broadband router. Your router's IP address can also be referred to as your computer's default gateway.

By default, the IP address is set to 192.168.0.1

3- After entering the IP address of your router you can simply press enter.

4- You should see a box prompting you for your username and password.

4- Click the Destination Port button when you are finished.
