How to Setup PureVPN Manually on Belkin Router?

PureVPN can easily be setup on just about any device you can think of, including Belkin routers. For those that want to enjoy greater control and wish to go about doing things on their own, they can manually setup Belkin VPN using PureVPN, here’s how:

Things to Consider:

Before you begin, please make sure that:

  • You have a working internet connection
  • VPN Supported Router.
  • Own a premium PureVPN account (If you do not already own one, you can buy a subscription from here)

2 Access your router control panel and click on ‘Internet’ on the left panel

3 Select ‘PPTP’ tab from the top menu.

4 In ‘WAN interface type’ field select ‘Dynamic IP Address’.

5 Leave ‘Hostname’ and ‘MAC Address’ fields blank.

6 Under ‘PPTP Settings; 

  • Enter your PureVPN provided Username and Password
  • ( Important Note: Your email address is not your VPN login username)
  • Insert the desired server: Please refer to the server address shared in the above note.
  • Follow this guide to get the server IP.

7 Set ‘Connection ID’ to ‘0’ and in ‘MTU’ field enter value ‘1400’

8 In ‘Type’ field select ‘Keep Connection’ from the drop-down menu and then click ‘Apply’.
