How to configure WireGuard on PureVPN App
Looking for a fast and secure VPN connection? We’re excited to announce that we’ve launched WireGuard protocol in our app, so you can get started using it right away!
How to connect Wireguard on PureVPN Windows App
- Click the Settings icon in the left panel of the PureVPN app.
- Select the Protocol tab
- Toggle Automatic protocol selection to have more control over your protocol selection.
- A warning message will appear, click the Proceed to continue.
- Select your desired WireGuard protocol from the drop-down menu.
- Your WireGuard protocol will be successfully changed upon selection
- Once you’re done, go back to the locations tab and connect with the location you want.
- You can see the WireGuard protocol you selected in the connection details once you’re successfully connected.
How to connect Wireguard on PureVPN Mac App
- Click the Preferences option in the left panel of the PureVPN app.
- From the general settings, select the Protocol tab
- From general settings tab and go to the Protocol tap
- Turn off Automatic protocol selection to change your protocol selection
- A warning message will appear, click the Proceed to continue.
- Select your desired WireGuard protocol from the drop-down menu.
- Once you’re done, go back to the locations tab and connect with the location you want.
You can see the WireGuard protocol you selected in the connection details once you’re successfully connected.
How to connect Wireguard on PureVPN Android App
- Tap the Hamburger icon (≡) from the top left.
- Tap Settings option
- Go to the Advanced tap
- Tap Connection protocol
- To change your protocol selection, you’ll need to turn off Automatic protocol selection. A warning will appear when you do this, but just tap Ok to continue.
- Select the WireGuard protocol of your choice.click the Proceed to continue.
- Upon selection, your WireGuard protocol will be successfully changed
- Once done, go back to the Locations tab and connect with your desired location.
- You can see the WireGuard protocol you selected in the connection details once you’re successfully connected.
How to connect Wireguard on PureVPN iOS App
- Tap the Hamburger icon (≡) from the top left
- Tap Settings option
- From general settings tab and go to the Advanced tap
- Tap Connection protocol
- Toggle Automatic selection and pop-up will appear tap Yes to proceed
- Choose the WireGuard Protocol of your choice from the list
- Upon selection, your WireGuard protocol will be successfully changed
