What are background services?

PureDome keeps running Atom Service in the background. Background processes are when some processes occur in the background so that vital tasks are taken care of without our direct input

Atom Service is a core component on which PureDome depends and is responsible. Atom Service is a Service program. Stopping and restarting Service programs frequently hangs them and makes them unusable. If the service hangs, the user may be required to restart the system to make it usable. That is why it is recommended to keep the Atom Service running.
