    Hi,

    I installed PureVPN app at a new desktop over win10 64bits and I receive a message when trying to connect to any south America countries….unableds to connect to the remote server

    1. Make sure the correct username and password is entered. Please check your email for correct VPN credentials.
    2. While typing credentials, ensure that ‘Caps Lock’ button is turned off and type Username and Password manually, do not copy/paste
    3. Make sure your PureVPN account is not expired

    Sorry for the inconvenience. Erro 720 means that your windows ‘Wan Ports’ are corrupted, this can be solved by following instructions given in this tutorial https://support.purevpn.com/error-720-a-connection-to-the-remote-computer-could-not-be-established

    If you still face any issue after following this tutorial, then you might need to reinstall your windows.

      Yeah! or maybe i will just find a VPN provider who don’t have Miniports problems and some proper Guides. ffs it’s a VPN!

        I would suggest you to try to connect with OpenVPN Tcp and Open Udp protocols, this should work fine, as this does not require Miniports.

      i was asking what port is needed for this VPN to go through the Firewall. It’s not an option to shut down the Firewall!?! Anyway… on Windows 10 i get this Error 720 and followed your instruction using the CMD but still it does not work… Why don’t you fix it, so it works with Windows 10. it’s been around for some time now, with this problem! Equally on Linux mint, your Guide is not compatible and it has been like this, for years.

    In the Windows Features dialog box, check the Telnet Client check box.

    Error is opening Telnet Client at port 31749 No Connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:31749

    I’ve been using purevpn in china for a little over a year now with no problem until now. A few days back every time I tried connecting I would get error 800 and occasionally 807 when I try changing the protocol. I read up on troubleshooting but the security tab for me shows no option as the screenshot you guys have posted. Not sure what to do so I need help. I use windows 7 by the way.
