How to Setup PureVPN on Windows Phone?

Things to Consider:

It is imperative that you have the following before you begin:

  • A working internet connection
  • A Windows Phone
  • A Premium PureVPN account (if you haven’t bought it yet, click here to buy)

L2TPIKEv2

1 Go to Settings.

2 Tap on VPN.

3 Tap on (+) to add VPN profile.

4 Insert the following info:

  • Server Name or IP address: Insert desired server address. Click here to get the server list
  • Type: Select “L2TP with IPSec”
  • Connect Using: Select “username+password+pre-shared key
  • Username: Insert Username provided by PureVPN. Insert username in this format [email protected]

5 Insert the following info:

  • Password: Insert Password provided by PureVPN
  • Pre-shared key: 12345678
  • Connect Automatically: Depends on your need
  • Send all traffic: ON

Profile Name: PureVPN, PureVPN UK, PureVPN US (Anything you like)

Tap on Save.

7 Tap on Newly create VPN connection to connect VPN.

VPN Connection has been successfully connected.

1 Go to Settings.

2 Tap on VPN.

3 Tap on (+) to add VPN profile.

4 Insert the following info:

  • Enter desired Server address in “Server name or IP address” box. Click here to get the server list.
  • Select Type (IKEv2)
  • Select “username+password” from “Connect Using”

5 Enter PureVPN Username and Password in respective fields. Insert username in this format [email protected] Keep Send all traffic ON

Profile Name: PureVPN, PureVPN UK, PureVPN US (Anything you like)

Tap on Save.

7 Tap on Newly create VPN connection to connect VPN.

8 VPN Connection has been successfully connected.

      I have to echo the request for a Windows 10 app… Your team should consider a universal (UWP) app, which could serve both Desktop and Mobile. I understand Microsoft even offers a converter to make it easier to accomplish.
