Session Activity

This article explains the steps for using the Session Activity report. 

This report provides account administrators with the ability to see current VPN sessions across different gateway and dedicated IP locations, whether through manual VPN connections or PureDome applications.

Finding Session Activity Events

  • To view session activity, select Reporting & Logs and then Session Activity in the PureDome Console on the left side.
  • Here you will see a list of team members, the type of connection they have established (i.e. the protocol used), the amount of bandwidth used, the start time, duration of their session, where the session originated from, and the network and region of the gateways they accessed during the session.

Session Activity Details

Column Name

Description

Member

Email address of the team member.

Download/ Upload

The amount of bandwidth consumed during the session. 

Protocol

The VPN protocol used during the session. 

Start Time

Date and time when the VPN session was initiated. (in UTC)

Duration

The duration of the VPN session.

Session Origin

From where the session originated from.

Network

Name of the gateway or dedicated IP.

Region

Location of the gateway or dedicated IP.
