Simple Solution:

1 Make sure that you are using the correct server address / IP.

2 PPTP protocols is working / opened by your ISP / Network firewall.

3 PPTP Pass through is enabled on your router or allowed through your Router / System / 3rd Party Firewall. TCP Port 1723 and GRE Protocol 47 must be opened for PPTP VPN connection

4 Alternately, you may try other protocols i.e. L2TP, SSTP and OpenVPN

Hi I’m in Australia. Recently I joined PuteVPN, downloaded and installed the windows beta software…
    I’m using windows 7 ultimate, my modem/router is Netcomm N300 NF7.
I’m trying to connect to au3.purevpn.net (I also tried others AU purVPN servers) but it doesn’t work.
When I go to network connections, PureVPN is showing Disconnected. When I try to connect, after some time a window “Error connecting to PureVPN” appears and there is a line: “Connecting to au3.purevpn.net using ‘WAN Mimiport (PPTP)’…
Next line is Error 807: The network connection between your computer and the VPN server was interrupted etc., etc.
I was trying to investigate what’s wrong but couldn’t find any sollution.
    Please help.
    Thanks
