Internet Connection Sharing(ICS) on Windows

Things to Consider:

Before you begin, please make sure that:

  • You have a working internet connection
  • Windows Supported Device.
  • A Premium PureVPN account (if you haven’t bought it yet, click here to buy)

Before sharing VPN via ICS. Please connnect Ethernet from your system to PS3, Xbox, Apple TV etc.

1 Right click on “Open Network and Sharing Center.”

2 Click on “Change Adapter settings.”

3 Rigth click on VPN connection and select “Properties.”

4 From Shaing tab, select “Allow Other Network users to connect through this computer’s Interent connection” and click OK on the Popup.

5 Select “Local Area Connection” from drop down menu and click OK.

Now you are done. Connect VPN then reboot PS3, Xbox, Apple TV.

    Hi, lm having problems connecting the VPN to my xbox when im testing connection it gives me an lp Error any help???

    windows method is not working in windows 10
    so choose other method or downgrade your windows to 7

    I am sorry for the inconvenience. I would suggest you to change dns of both devices to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and check.

    Hi, I’ve done all the steps, but TV cannot connect to the internet. It can connect to the computer, but cannot go beyond that. error message says DNS has to be checked. I’ve tried several 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4 etc, but none works. VPN is shared with LAN network and pc is connected via WIFI. TV is connected via ethernet cable to the pc. Where is the problem?
