I am Connected to VPN But My IP Address Still Shows as Real IP (IP of My Local ISP)

This issue is reported mostly by MAC users. If you are having this issue, please disconnect VPN.

  • Go to “System Preferences

  • Click on “Network

  • Click on “PureVPN Auto” then click on “Advanced…” button

  • Tick mark the “Send all traffic over VPN” option, Hit OK and apply. Then connect again and you will see IP has changed.

If you are using PureVPN Client on Windows then disconnect VPN, click “Split Tunnelling” tab and make sure that it is disabled.

You can also check your IP from the famous IP detection websites like:
– www.ip2location.com
– www.iplocation.net
– www.whatsmyip.org/ip-geo-location/
– whatismyipaddress.com/ip-lookup
