Things to Consider:

Before you begin, please make sure that:

  • You have a working internet connection
  • VPN Supported Router.
  • A Premium PureVPN account (If you haven’t bought yet click here to buy)
Find your VPN credentials for manual configuration.

  • Once logged in go to Account & Billing section.

  • On Account and Billing section click on drop-down icon

  • Click on Show/Update VPN password

  • Note down your PureVPN username and click on Eye icon to make your password visible and use it in the manual configuration.

How to connect PureVPN manually on Sitecom Gigabit Router.

Follow below steps to configure Sitecom router.

  • Access Router from a default gateway
  • click Wizard

Click on Wizard

  • Now Press Next

Now Press ‘Next’

  • Select Others in the drop-down menu titled Country

Select ‘Others’ in the drop-down menu titled ‘Country’

  • Select Manual Configuration in Service tab and hit Next

‘Manual Configuration’ Sitecom gigabit

  1. In the login Method select ‘PPTP’
  2. Enter ‘PureVPN’ in Hostname field
  3. Insert the desired server: Please refer to the server address shared in the above note.
  4. Enter your PureVPN credentials. Here is how you can find your VPN credentials.
  5. Write your desired server address in PPTP gateway field. If you don’t know this, contact PureVPN customer support.
  6. Enter 1400 in MTU field
  7. Hit Apply

  • After 16 seconds, your IP will be changed once your router reboots
