Does Multi Login also Work for Dedicated IP?

Dedicated IPs are best accessed from a single device at a time. Multiple devices trying to access a Dedicated IP simultaneously may cause connection issues.

Reason:

Dedicated IPs are associated with a username and can only be used by one device at a time, similar to how computer networking rules work. If more than one device is connected, the server will instead assign another IP address to the device rather than a Dedicated IP.

the dedicated ip doesn’t seem to work with personal hotspot on an iphone. and devices sharing the connection do not get the same external IP.

      Hi,

Thanks for reaching out. Dedicated IP is associated with username and could be assigned to a single device at a time and other devices will have dynamic IPs. If you want to get Static IP on all devices then I would suggest you to setup Dedicated IP on Router, in this way all devices connected to Router will get Static IP.

Feel free to contact us if you have further question/confusion
